A make-up or makeup artist (MUA) is an artist whose medium is the human body, applying makeup and prosthetics on others for theatre's, television, film, fashion, magazines and other similar productions including all aspects of the modelling industry.
We're storytellers
We are all engaged as a team to bringing the story from the page and place it in front of our audience my job is to help the actor become that character and help take the viewer to a time, a place, and a moment in time.

Right into Sight
Attention to detail is so important and making sure the makeup and hair is correct for the character and the storyline. I pride myself in getting this right from the colours of makeup being used in a period drama to the detail on prosthetic pieces or when creating a creature.
